Tension Trio

TENSION TRIO is a strength training program made up of tri-set exercises.

Introduction

This strength training program is called Tension Trio. We cover your entire body- upper body, legs, glutes, abs. Everything.

Why is it called Tension Trio?

Trio means a group of three. Each set consists of three parts.

This is what a set looks like:

  1. Pull the bar apart for 8 reps.

    • Go to second set with no rest.

  2. Do 8 reps of the same exercise without pulling the bar apart.

    • Rest for 8-seconds.

  3. Do 8 reps of the same exercise pulling the bar apart. If you can’t do 8, do as many as you can.

Below is a graphic to help you visually see the progression:

A workout progression chart demonstrating resistance band exercises. It shows a person pulling a band apart for 8 reps, then not pulling apart for 8 reps, followed by a 2nd rest period, then pulling the band apart again for 8 reps. Each step is illustrated with a drawing of a person holding a resistance band at shoulder height, with instructions to perform specific actions and durations.
